By removing two upper cabinet doors and installing dowel rods for a plate holder, the kitchen opened up to the eating area. The walls were covered with tongue in groove pine, then whitewashed, which looked phenominal! The ceiling was repaired and painted, light fixtures were replaced, the counter tile was regrouted, and the kitchen floor was repaired and cleaned.
